Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 25-595-HS001-10378
This unique kanjivaram sari in pale grey shot with pale stone is handwoven with checks in gold zari, taupe and golden beige, enclosing simham(lion), puli(tiger), yaanai(elephant), kuthirai(horse), maan(deer), annam, mayil(peacock), kili(parrot) and floral motifs in pale grey, on the body. The korvai borders in ruby red shot with deep purple have vanki(chevron) patterns and stripes in gold zari, along with a selvedge in burgundy. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features checks enclosing simham, puli, yaanai, kuthirai, maan, annam, mayil, kili and floral motifs, twill and geometric bands in gold tissue, gold zari, ruby red amd burgundy.
