This stunning kanjivaram sari in gold tissue is handwoven with checks enclosing peacock and chakaram motifs in gold zari, across the body. The korvai borders in vermillion red, the broad border has peacock, yali, twill and geometric patterns in gold zari and dark leaf green; while the small border has twill and geometric patterns in gold zari and dark leaf green. The pallu in gold tissue shot with vermillion red features a diamond band flanked by peacock, elephant, yali, temple and paisley motifs in gold zari.
