Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 22-110-HS001-13942

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in violet is handwoven with geometric buttis in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders have diamond, mayil(peacock), parakkum kuthirai(winged horse), rudraksham, manga(paisley) and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu features a vanki(chevron) band flanked by mayil, yaanai(elephant), geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
