Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 23-598-HS005-10185

This unique silk cotton sari in rust orange is handwoven with bands in rust red cotton, along with chevron and geometric patterns in black cotton, on the body. The borders in rust red cotton shot with rust orange silk have chevron, paisley and geometric motifs in black and bronze cotton. The pallu in the same colours as the body features a seeprekku band edged by diamond, circular, chevron and geometric patterns in black silk.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft luster and bodied drape.
