Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 23-598-HS005-05460

This regal silk cotton sari in indigo blue is handwoven with stripes and checks in off white silk and red cotton, running along the body. The broad border has diamond and chevron patterns in red cotton, along with a band in black cotton; while the small border has diamond and geometric patterns in red cotton. The pallu mirrors the patterns of the broad borders and features geometric patterns in red silk.

These exclusively commissioned silk cotton handlooms are woven with a much higher silk content, which gives them a beautiful lustre and a crisp drape.
