Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 23-598-HS005-03590

This beautiful silk cotton sari in indigo blue cotton shot with navy blue silk is handwoven with fine stripes in self, highlighted by circular buttis in navy blue cotton, on the body. The borders have twill, vanki(chevron) and geometric patterns in mulberry purple. The pallu features a seeprekku band edged by deer, peacock, paisley, floral, chevron, geometric, stylised leaf motifs and stripes in navy blue cotton.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft lustre and bodied drape.
