Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 23-598-HS005-00155

This regal silk cotton sari in black is handwoven with stripes and checks in beige silk and scarlet red cotton, running along the body. The broad border has diamond and chevron patterns in red and green cotton, along with hints in mustard orange cotton; while the small border has diamond and geometric pattern in dark green cotton. The pallu features diamond, chevron and geometric patterns in scarlet red and dark green silk.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft luster and bodied drape.
