Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 22-598-HS005-11556

This classic silk cotton sari in leaf green silk shot with mustard orange cotton is handwoven with stripes and checks in royal blue silk and scarlet red cotton, running along the body. The broad border has diamond and chevron patterns in red and green cotton, along with a band in mustard orange cotton; while the narrow border has diamond and geometric patterns in scarlet red cotton, along with a band in mustard orange. The pallu in a dual shade of golden yellow features seeprekku band, diamond, chevron and geometric patterns in scarlet red and green silk.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft luster and bodied drape.
