Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 22-598-HS005-05514

This beautiful silk cotton sari in ruby red silk shot with copper pink silk is handwoven with stripes in beige cotton, highlighted by paisley motifs in mauve and copper silk, on the body. The borders follow a ganga jamuna layout where one side is in mauve pink cotton and the other side is in lavender cotton, both shot with copper pink silk, have geometric patterns in black cotton, along with contrasting hints. The pallu in the same colour as the body features peacock motifs, twill and geometric patterns in dark mauve and copper silk.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft luster and bodied drape.
