This classic kanjivaram sari in deep sky blue shot with pastel blue is handwoven with parakkum kuthirai(winged horse) and yali motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The korvai borders in a dual shade of woodrose pink have yaanai(elephant), mayil(peacock), manga(paisley), floral, diamond, twill and geometric patterns in gold zari orange. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features checks enclosing mayil and chakaram motifs, edged by yaanai, annam, mayil, manga, floral, rudraksham, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.

Approximate Length - 5.45 meters + 0.65 to 0.7 meters (attached blouse)

Here are a few tips that can help keep your kanjivaram silk products well cared for -

If you store your saris folded, please ensure you open them and change the fold every so often. Fold lines can "settle" if not refolded, creating fade marks and weakening the weave and brocade patterns along the fold line stress points.
If stored folded, be sure to store the saris in a muslin/cotton bag to preserve them better.
Air them out of the bags and refold every so often.
It is best to store heavier kanjivaram saris, especially brocaded (zari embellished) ones, on a sari roll. However, these too will need airing out and re-rolling at intervals
If you store your saris hung, you will still need to air them and refold to reset the fold lines. Hanging your heavier kanjivaram saris, however, is not recommended for extended periods.
Use insect repellants and anti moisture devices in your closed wardrobes to protect the saris.
Give your saris to silk specialist cleaners if you need to get them cleaned, Remember, not all stains are easily removed (or removable at all) once "set in" a fabric - the best time to tackle a stain is as soon as its occurred.
