This stunning kanjivaram sari in royal blue shot with hot pink is handwoven with geometric checks enclosing mayil(peacock), manga(paisley), floral and geometric motifs in gold zari, on the body. The borders in a dual shade of hot pink have twill, yaanai(elephant), parakkum kuthirai(winged horse), mayil, thazhampoo reku(temple) and geometric patterns in gold zari and mustard yellow, along with hints and a selvedge in mustard yellow and leaf green. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features checks enclosing mayil and floral buttis, flanked by yaanai, parakkum kuthirai, annam, yali, manga, twill, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
