The borders in scarlet red shot with ruby red have kuyilkann(cuckoo's eyes), vanki(chevron), twill and geometric motifs in gold zari. The pallu in the same colour as the borders features iruthalai pakshi, chakaram, vanki, geometric bands and stripes in gold zari.
