This stunning kanjivaram sari in leaf green shot with deep purple is handwoven with radham (chariot), iruthalai pakshi, kuthirai(horse), floral, manga(paisley) and geometric motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The borders have diamond, vanki(chevron), and thuthiripoo patterns in gold zari, along with hints of yellow ochre. The pallu woven using the ‘adai’ technique features a seeprekku pattern flanked by twill, mayil(peacock), yali, thuthiripoo and geometric motifs in gold zari, along with hints of green.
