This beautiful kanjivaram sari in black is handwoven with mayil(peacock) and floral motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders in yellow shot with black have vanki(chevron), thuthiripoo and geometric patterns in gold zari and deep purple, along with hints of deep magenta. The pallu woven using the benth technique features geometric bands and stripes in gold zari and deep magenta.
