This vibrant kanjivaram sari in violet shot with black is handwoven with checks, mayil(peacock) and chakaram motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The korvai borders in orange shot with scarlet red have twill and rudraksham patterns in gold zari, while the pallu features a diamond band flanked by yaanai(elephant), mayil, floral, geometric, stylised leaf and thazhampoo reku(temple) motifs all in gold zari.
