This classic kanjivaram sari in hot pink shot with scarlet red is handwoven with checks enclosing iruthalai pakshi and chakaram motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders in magenta shot with scarlet red have mayil(peacock), manga(paisley) and rudraksham patterns in gold zari. The pallu mirroring the colours of the borders features checks enclosing mayil and circular motifs edged by yali, annam, floral, rudraksham and thazhampoo reku(temple) patterns in gold zari.
