This stunning kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of grey is handwoven with checks, highlighted by mayil(peacock) and floral buttis in gold zari on the body. The korvai borders in mustard yellow shot with black have diamond, manga(paisley), iruthalai pakshi and thazhampoo reku(temple) and geometric motifs in gold zari, along with hints of leaf green and scarlet red. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a diamond band flanked by yaanai(elephant), floral, kodi visiri(floral creeper)stylised leaf and geometric motifs in gold zari.
