This stunning kanjivaram sari in hot pink shot with purple is handwoven with checks enclosing iruthalai pakshi, parakkum kuthirai(winged horse) and yaanai(elephant) motifs in gold zari, across the body. The broad borders have geometric, paisley(manga), mayil(peacock), rudraksham and floral patterns in gold zari; while the small border has geometric, floral and rudraksham motifs in gold zari. The pallu features a geometric band edged by yali, yaanai, manga(paisley), mythical bird, rudraksham and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
