Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-040-HS001-11780

This unique kanjivaram sari is handwoven in pistachio green shot with mustard yellow is handwoven with an ettu kol twill pattern in gold zari, highlighted by checks, mayil(peacock), maan(deer), iruthalai pakshi and parakum kuthirai(winged horse) motifs in gold zari, red and pink on the body. The borders in a dual shade of yellow have diamond and geometric patterns in gold zari, with hints of pink. The pallu is interlocked using the 'benth' technique in the same colours as the borders and features a diamond band edged by yali, mann kuthirai(terracotta horse), mythical animal, floral, manga(paisley), salangai(anklet) and geometric motifs in gold zari and red, woven using the 'adai' technique.
