This unique kanjivaram sari in scarlet red is handwoven with bands and stripes in gold zari, dark pink and black, running along the body. The borders in scarlet red shot with black have chevron, diamond and geometric patterns in gold zari, black and green, along with bands and hints in orange and yellow. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a seeprekku pattern in gold tissue, paisley, floral, geometric and stylised leaf patterns in gold zari.
