This elegant kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of grey is handwoven with iruthalai pakshi motifs in lemon yellow, all over the body. The borders have diamond, geometric and floral patterns in gold zari and royal blue, along with moplah bands, hints and a selvedge in golden yellow, purple and golden brown. The pallu features a twill band flanked by kuthirai(horse), mayil(peacock), mythical animal, stylised leaf and geometric patterns in gold zari, royal blue and purple.
