This beautiful silk cotton Gadwal sari in burgundy shot with black is handwoven with floral motifs in gold, with a silk warp and cotton weft, on the body. The borders are in indigo blue shot with black; the broad border has diamond, paisley, twill and geometric patterns in gold, along with a band in mustard yellow, while the narrow border has diamond, paisley, twill and geometric patterns in gold, both have a selvedge in pink. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a geometric band flanked by paisley, floral, chevron patterns and stripes in gold. Both the borders and pallu are in silk.
