This unique silk cotton gadwal sari in a dual shade of blue is handwoven with checks in a dual shade of red, forming a checkered pattern, with a silk warp and cotton weft, on the body. The temple korvai borders in scarlet red shot with red have twill, paisley, chevron and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with a selvedge in green. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features bands and stripes in gold. Both the borders and pallu are in silk.
