Kanakavalli Gadwal Silk/Cotton Sari 23-604-HS005-01645

This unique silk cotton gadwal sari is handwoven with bands and stripes in black, off-white, chartreuse green and purple forming a checkered pattern, with a silk warp and cotton weft on the body. The temple korvai borders in vermillion red have geometric patterns in gold, along with bands in parrot green and bright yellow. The pallu mirrors the colour and patterns of the borders. Both the borders and pallu are in silk.
