This beautiful silk cotton Gadwal sari in violet with chartreuse is handwoven with checks in self, with a silk warp and cotton weft, on the body. The temple korvai borders in black have geometric patterns and stripes in gold, along with bands and hints in rust red and golden yellow. The pallu mirrors the colours and patterns of the borders. Both the borders and pallu are in silk.
