Priyanka weds Rishab
Kanakavalli Bride Priyanka met Rishab fifteen years ago when they were in the sixth grade and part of the same band. They spent a lot of time together and were the best of friends for seven years.
Priyanka was secretly in love with him but didn’t want to ruin their friendship. Fast forward to 2020, when Rishab expressed his feelings for her and Priyanka was convinced he was playing a prank.
To prove himself, he spoke to her parents about how he felt. Both their families were very happy to see Priyanka and Rishab get together, and she sometimes still can’t believe she got to marry her childhood love.
Having started preparations an entire year before the wedding, Rishab and Priyanka made every decision together and thoroughly enjoyed planning their wedding.
Priyanka is from a Telugu family, while Rishab is Kannadiga, so they had a few wedding traditions in common.
Ever since she was a girl, Priyanka had a vision of what her wedding would look like – with banana and mango leaves, brass utensils, fresh flowers in white and pink, and a big Tanjore painting in the background. She was thrilled that her vision came to life on her special day.
Priyanka has known she wanted to be a Kanakavalli Bride ever since she was a young girl, since she loved all her mother’s saris from the store.
The entire family visited Kanakavalli to buy her wedding kanjivaram and, as they expected, Priyanka fell in love with many saris. Among them was a traditional and beautiful pink kanjivaram that caught their eye. Her father loved it and they knew that it was the one for the muhurtham.
