Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 24-598-HS005-10404

This classic silk cotton sari in black silk and cotton is handwoven with bands and stripes in sap green and off-white silk, forming a checkered pattern, highlighted by paisley motifs in scarlet red silk, on the body. The borders have paisley, twill and diamond patterns in red cotton. The pallu mirrors the patterns of the borders and also features seeprekku band, twill patterns and stripes in scarlet red silk.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft lustre and bodied drape.
