This regal kanjivaram sari in dark green shot with deep brown is handwoven with checks enclosing mayil(peacock) and floral buttis in gold zari, on the body. The borders in a dual shade of green have twill, yaanai(elephant), floral and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a diamond band flanked by kuthirai(horse), manga(paisley), floral and geometric motifs in gold zari.
