BEAUTIFUL DRAPE : September Edition

The Beautiful Drape for September is a classic, monochromatic kanjivaram that beautifully celebrate's the drape's bold geometry and dramatic beauty; striking in its simplicity and timeless in its elegance.
The body of the kanjivaram features oosi kattam or fine, needle checks in gold zari, dotted with classic motifs – some variations of the sari are embellished with both iruthalai pakshis (two-headed birds) and manga (paisleys) while others feature one of the two motifs. The borders are woven with a band in silk, and a band of gold tissue at the top. A central seeprekku pattern adorns the pallu, with sharp edges resembling the teeth of a comb, flanked by delicate seer lines, all in gold zari.
Woven in a single hue, without the use of techniques like korvai and benth, this sari is called ekaantam. The fine oosi lines of the warp flow from the body, through the pallu and into the attached blouse length.
Available in multiple colour and motif options, this sari features zari with a composition of 0.3% gold and 24-26% silver.
