This stunning kanjivaram sari in magenta shot with deep purple is handwoven with checks enclosing yaanai(elephant), iruthalai pakshi and parakkum kuthirai(winged horse) motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The borders have diamond and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu features checks, yaanai, mayil(peacock), chakaram, manga(paisley), floral, rudraksham, thazhampoo reku(temple) and geometric motifs in gold zari.
