This unique kanjivaram sari in black shot with deep purple is handwoven with floral buttis in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders have manga(paisley) and geometric patterns in gold zari, highlighted by korvai (temple) motifs in red and mustard yellow, along with a selvedge in dark emerald green. The pallu features geometric bands, manga, stylised leaf motifs and alternating stripes in gold tissue, gold zari, red and mustard yellow.
