Kanakavalli Silk Cotton Sari 23-598-HS005-00161

This classic silk cotton sari in vintage pink silk is handwoven with bands and stripes in black and maroon, forming a checkered pattern, on the body. The broad border has band, diamond and chevron pattern in pink, copper and maroon cotton, while the narrow border has diamond and chevron motifs in copper. The pallu features diamond, chevron and geometric pattern in rust orange silk and black silk.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft luster and bodied drape.
