This beautiful kanjivaram sari in dark grey shot with off-white is handwoven with floral buttis in gold zari, dotted on the body, along with dramatically large manga(paisley) and floral motifs in gold zari placed on either corner of the body. The borders in aqua green shot with off-white have floral, twill and geometric patterns in gold zari and stem green, along with bands in watermelon pink. The pallu in the same colour as the borders features a diamond band flanked by maan(deer), yali, manga, floral, vanki(chevron), rudraksham, thazhampoo reku(temple) and geometric motifs in gold zari and stem green.

Approximate Length - 5.4 meters + 0.7 to 0.75 meters (attached blouse)

Here are a few tips that can help keep your kanjivaram silk products well cared for -

If you store your saris folded, please ensure you open them and change the fold every so often. Fold lines can "settle" if not refolded, creating fade marks and weakening the weave and brocade patterns along the fold line stress points.
If stored folded, be sure to store the saris in a muslin/cotton bag to preserve them better.
Air them out of the bags and refold every so often.
It is best to store heavier kanjivaram saris, especially brocaded (zari embellished) ones, on a sari roll. However, these too will need airing out and re-rolling at intervals
If you store your saris hung, you will still need to air them and refold to reset the fold lines. Hanging your heavier kanjivaram saris, however, is not recommended for extended periods.
Use insect repellants and anti moisture devices in your closed wardrobes to protect the saris.
Give your saris to silk specialist cleaners if you need to get them cleaned, Remember, not all stains are easily removed (or removable at all) once "set in" a fabric - the best time to tackle a stain is as soon as its occurred.
