This regal kanijvaram sari in magenta shot with deep red is handwoven with geometric checks enclosing yaanai(elephant), parakkum kuthirai(winged horse) and iruthalai pakshi motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The broad borders have diamond, yali, manga(paisley), rudraksham, floral and geometric patterns in gold zari; while the narrow borders have diamond, manga, rudraksham and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with a selvedge in emerald green. The pallu features a diamond band flanked by yali, annam, floral, twill, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
