Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 21-100-HS001-00190

This sari is from Kanakavalli's Reiya collective of kanjivarams that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a
sumptuous bodied but butter-soft hand feel.

This regal kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of purple is handwoven with geometric and circular motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The borders have manga(paisley), yaanai(elephant), mayil(peacock), floral, rudraksham, twill and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with hints and a selvedge in maroon and deep purple. The pallu features maan(deer), yaanai, iruthalai pakshi, mayil, mythical bird, manga, floral, rudraksham, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
