Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 21-041-HS001-08100
This stunning kanjivaram sari in mauve shot with taupe is handwoven with checks in gold tissue, running along the body. The korvai borders follow a ganga jamuna layout, where the sides are in a dual shade of blue and jade green, have diamond, thuthiripoo and salangai(anklet) motifs in gold zari and orange, along with hints of leaf green. The pallu is interlocked using the 'petni' technique in ruby red and features a diamond band flanked by kuthirai(horse), mayil(peacock), floral, thuthiripoo and geometric motifs in gold zari and burnt orange, along with hints of leaf green, woven using the 'adai' technique.
The sari is handworked with kasuti motifs in golden yellow, beige, green and sky blue across the body, borders and pallu.
