Over the last few months of uncertainty and anxiety, the ideas of wellness, health and immunity have taken on entirely new and significant meanings for us, as we focus on keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe. In this context, we return to the Healing Foods collective that Kanakavalli conceptualised last year, at the start of the pandemic. Drawing on the colours of the kanjivaram that are found in a South Indian kitchen, we bring you traditional homemade remedies to boost immunity, inspired by the wisdom of our grandmothers.
