Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 24-598-HS005-09270

This unique silk cotton sari in black is handwoven with bands and stripes in leaf green, sap green and pale grey silk, forming a checkered pattern, enclosing paisley motifs in scarlet red silk, on the body. The borders have paisley,  diamond and twill patterns in red cotton. The pallu features a seeprekku pattern edged by twill, paisley, diamond and geometric motifs in scarlet red silk.

Woven with silk and cotton in the warp, and silk in the weft, these exclusively developed handlooms, with their higher silk content, impart these saris with a soft luster and bodied drape.
