Kanakavalli Silk/Cotton Sari 22-598-HS005-00757

This classic silk cotton sari in cobalt blue silk is handwoven with stripes in black cotton, along with paisley buttis in mustard yellow and cream silk on the body. The borders follow a ganga jamuna layout, where the sides are in magenta cotton and bright yellow cotton both shot with cobalt blue silk having geometric patterns and stripes in beige, orange and magenta cotton. The pallu mirrors the colours and patterns of the body also features peacock and geometric motifs in mustard yellow and cream silk.

These exclusively commissioned silk cotton handlooms are woven with a much higher silk content, which gives them a beautiful lustre and crisp drape.
