This stunning kanjivaram sari in pale lilac shot with off-white is handwoven with checks enclosing mayil(peacock) and floral buttis in gold zari, all over the body. The korvai borders are in magenta shot with burgundy; the broad border has kuthirai(horse), mayil(peacock), yali, mythical bird, manga(paisley), floral, twill and geometric motifs in gold zari and pale lilac; while the narrow border has kuthirai, mayil, yali, mythical bird, manga, floral, twill and geometric patterns in gold zari and pale lilac. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a geometric band flanked by annam, yali, mythical bird, manga, floral, twill, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
