This regal kanjivaram sari in violet shot with black is handwoven with checks in a dual shade of golden yellow, all over the body. The borders in golden yellow shot with black have iruthalai pakshi, manga(paisley) motifs and stripes in gold zari, along with bands in dark leaf green. The pallu mirroring the colours of the borders features a seeprekku pattern and alternating stripes in gold zari.
