This beautiful kanjivaram sari in violet shot with hot pink is handwoven with stripes in gold zari, on the body. The broad borders have twill, diamond and manga(paisley) patterns in gold zari, while the narrow borders have diamond and manga motifs in gold zari. The pallu features a diamond band flanked by mayil(peacock), yaanai(elephant), manga, floral, vanki(chevron), geometric and stylised leaf patterns in gold zari.
