This stunning kanjivaram sari in scarlet red shot with deep purple is handwoven with mayil(peacock) and floral motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders are in a dual shade of red, the broad border has yaanai(elephant), floral and geometric patterns in gold zari; while the narrow border has geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a diamond band flanked by yaanai, mayil, annam, floral, rudraksham, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
