This beautiful kanjivaram sari in parrot green shot with burgundy is handwoven with checks in gold zari, across the body. The broad and narrow borders in a dual shade of burgundy have iruthalai pakshi and chakaram enclosing yali and floral motifs in gold zari. The pallu in the same colours as the borders features a diamond band edged by yaanai(elephant), mayil(peacock), annam, twill, floral, geometric and stylised leaf patterns in gold zari.
