This regal kanjivaram sari in leaf green shot with black is handwoven with checks, highlighted by mayil(peacock) and chakaram motifs in gold zari, on the body. The korvai borders in hot pink shot with scarlet red have twill, mayil, manga(paisley), floral and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu in the same colour as the border features a diamond band flanked by kuthirai (horse), mythical animal, mayil, manga, floral, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
