This stunning kanjivaram sari in golden yellow shot with bright yellow is handwoven with checks enclosing mayil(peacock) motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The borders have a selvedge in dark green. The pallu in dark green shot with scarlet red features a diamond band edged by yaanai(elephant), annam, floral, twill, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
