This classic kanjivaram sari in black is handwoven with checks enclosing mayil(peacock) motifs in gold zari, on the body. The pallu features a diamond pattern flanked by parakkum kuthirai(winged horse), mayil, floral, stylised leaf and geometric motifs in gold zari.
