This regal kanjivaram sari in orange shot with scarlet red is handwoven with checks enclosing floral motifs in gold zari and bright yellow across the body. The borders in magenta shot with scarlet red have twill, yaanai(elephant), parakkum kuthirai(winged horse), mayil(peacock), chakaram and geometric patterns in gold zari, along with a selvedge in green. The pallu mirrors the colours of the borders and features a twill band edged by yaanai, mayil, rudraksham, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
