This stunning kanjivaram sari in pale rosewater pink shot with watermelon pink interspersed with gold tissue is handwoven with checks enclosing mayil(peacock) and floral motifs in gold zari, across the body. The broad borders have twill, mayil, kuthirai(horse), yali, mythical bird, manga(paisley), floral and geometric patterns in gold zari and pale rosewater pink, while the narrow borders have twill, yali, kuthirai, mythical bird, manga, floral and geometric motifs in gold zari and rosewater pink. The pallu features a geometric band edged by twill, annam, yali, floral and stylised leaf patterns in gold zari.
