Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 24-110-HS001-01777

This regal kanjivaram sari in mauve shot with black is handwoven with checks highlighted by mayil(peacock) and floral buttis in gold zari, all over the body. The borders in deep red shot with black, the broad borders have yali, mayil, rudraksham, twill and geometric motifs in gold zari; while the narrow borders have rudrakhsam, twill and geometric motifs in gold zari, along with hints and selvedge in green. The pallu in the same colour as the borders features a twill band flanked by yali, yaanai(elephant), mayil, annam, rudraksham, floral, geometric and stylised leaf patterns in gold zari.
